Astoria Bar Ké Grill brings a blend of traditional and modern Greek cuisine to South Yarra.

We understand that many of you have cherished memories with us, and we want to assure you that our commitment to quality and

exceptional service remains our top priority.

We are proud to introduce our dynamic teamleading this transition :

Chef Jason Lear, most recently head chef at Matteo’s in North Fitzroy a culinary expert with years of experience in some of Australia’s best restaurants and Nik Pouloupatis, your

restaurant manager, who has dedicated his career to providing exceptional and genuine hospitality at award-

winnings venues, Attica, Vue de Monde and Grossi Florentino (where he and Jason met).

Together, Jason and Nik bring a wealth of knowledge and passion for the industry, ensuring that our restaurant is in safe hands.

The decision to rebrand was not taken lightly. We aim to honour the legacy of Shadowboxer while introducing

exciting new flavours and experiences inspired by our heritage and experience.

Our menu will feature a wide range of authentic Greek dishes, alongside modern interpretations, and we’re also working on a curated selection of wines and cocktails to complement your experience.

We wholeheartedly welcome our longtime patrons and invite new guests to join us on this adventure.

Bookings available via the BOOK button on the home page. Please note we only take bookings after 5pm for guests wishing to dine with us. If you were just after a drink and a snack just come on down, we always endeavour to keep space for walk ins.
